Belgium and Czech, the new R4 European Champions are celebrating!!

The final discipline – the Downriver – is over. And the R4 European Champions have emerged!! Congratulations to Czech Men 1 and to Belgium Women 1 – the 2012 R4 Euro Champions! Full results

Germany and Czech Republic are the 2012 R6 European Champions!!

Germany 1 have taken gold in the overall ranking of the 2012 European Championship in the men’s R6, with Czech Republic 2 securing their overall gold medal in the women’s R6.

A huge congratulations to both team and enjoy the celebrations!!!!!

Golden Day for Czechs in Slalom!!

The Czechs scoop up all the Gold medals today in the Euro Champs Slalom, showing their great skill at this discipline as they have on the other days.

Another fantastic morning of racing from the R6 teams. Summer time seems to have left Lipno with another wet cold day and the course looking rather magical with steam rising from the water.  The Slalom looked like a good technical course definitely requiring teams working in controlled unison to navigate a clean fast run through the gates. Indonesia to host 2014 R4 World Rafting Championships

Indonesia has won the right to host the 2014 R4 World Rafting Championships after the International Rafting Federation (IRF) voted for the Asian nation to host the event for the first time.
