The Mission “The Great Karnali Quest – sacred river corridor raft race is on, in order to Save the Karnali – the most pristine and last free flowing River of Nepal”, this river is seriously under threat, the Govt.

Val di Femme Outdoor becomes IRF Rafting Operator Accredited

Recently Val di Femme Outdoor, which is in Cavalese, Italy, received the IRF’s Rafting Operator Accreditation (ROA). They are a small company which usually have about four guides per season, and on bigger trips they sometimes use freelance guides from around the town where they are based.
Their base is small, but functional and tidy. All clients equipment is in perfect shape. It is easy to see that the owners, Federica Simoni and Aldo Nicolodi, love what they are doing.

European Championship Team Spotlight: Masters Men – Great Britain (Team Phoenix)

We are rapidly approaching the European Championship in the Czech Republic!
Today we cast our spotlight on one of the Masters Men teams that will participate in the championship.
Great Britain Masters Men team (Team Phoenix), will compete in both the R4 and R6 races.
The team is based at the National Watersports Centre, Nottingham, England. The centre has both flat water and a gravity fed artificial whitewater course.

We are getting closer to the European Championship in the Czech Republic, and our excitement is growing…
The best teams from all over Europe are training hard, fine tuning their skills in preparation for competing on the world stage in this top level event.
Over 50 teams from 14 countries are registered to participate in all disciplines and categories.
Follow this space as we introduce you to a few of the teams, their plans, ways of preparing for the competition that awaits us in the Czech Republic, from August 21-27.
