The 2015 R6 Euro Rafting Champs are about to get under way in Banja Luka,  Bosnia y Herzegovina, on the Vrbas River.

The event, hosted by Kanjon Rafting Klub, is in the same location and run by the same organisers as the very successful 2009 World Champs.

The schedule:

• Starts on Tuesday the 19th with Registration, Training and the first Captain’s Meeting.
• Wednesday will be more official training and that evening will the the Opening Ceremony.
• Thursday will be the Sprint and H2H for the U19, U23 and Masters and the Open teams will train for the Downriver.
• Friday will be the Open Sprint and H2H with the others training for the Downriver.
• Saturday will be Slalom for all, however, it will only start at 4pm so that the event will finish under the spot lights – always an amazing scene!
• Sunday will be the Grand Finale – the Downriver and then the Closing Ceremony.
