The World Cup Rafting series recently visited Banja Luka, Bosnia from June 2nd until June 4th. 19 national teams participated in this exciting event, making it an amazing showcase of rafting talent.
The organization of the event was top-notch and everything went smoothly, making it a great success. With all aspects of the competition being carefully planned and executed to perfection. As we are used to from the Rafting Klub Kanjon!
In addition to being listed as a World Cup series event, this competition was the annual Memorial Race for Branka Stulic, the captain of the Bosnian rafting team who tragically passed away 13 years ago in Italy during the European Rafting Championship. This was a touching tribute to a greatly missed athlete, and it added an emotional element to the event that was appreciated by all in attendance.
The race was a thrilling competition, with each team showing off their skills and strategies as they navigated the challenging rapids of the course. The competition was fierce, but ultimately, the Russian teams, both men’s and women’s team emerged as the race winners.
Overall, this event was a great success, showcasing some of the best rafting talent in the world while also honoring the legacy of a beloved athlete.
Rafting Klub Kanjon, once again showed they are truly one of the best organizers for rafting competitions! Thank you! 💙
