The Bulgarian Rafting Federation and organising team has issued a welcome letter to teams, judges, volunteers and friends that are participating in the 2025 European Rafting Championship. Please read their warm words below:
Dear teams, judges, volunteers and friends,
On behalf of the Bulgarian Rafting Federation and the entire organizing team, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you joining us for the IRF European Rafting Championship 2025 in Bulgaria.
We are honored to host this year’s edition of the championship and are thrilled to welcome all teams, coming together to celebrate sport, nature and community. The competition trail along the Struma River is fully prepared and waiting for your team spirit. :)
Registration will take place in Bansko Community Center on Monday at 18:00. We look forward to greeting each of you in person there.
Outside of the competition, we invite you to explore the beauty of the region. The Kresna Gorge and its surroundings offer a wealth of natural and cultural sights. We’ve put together a simple brochure (below) with some of our favorite places not to miss, and we’re happy to suggest more based on your interests. Do not hesitate to reach out!
