This year the IRF is holding its first ever Masters World Champs (23 – 28 Aug) in the Czech Rep on the Ceske Budejovice artificial course.

This is a great opportunity for the paddlers who still love the competitions but have been knocked out by the young and up-and-coming rafting teams! Its also a chance to see old friends and make new ones while remminiscing about the early rafting competitions around the world.

This is a photo of Team Bobar of Slovenia which dominated the first 5 Camel Challenge and WRC events. Will they come and show us how its done again?

Teams that have confirmed their entries are: Bulgaria, Czech, Italy, Romania, Russia and Serbia. Brasil may also be attending. In the women’s section so far we have Czech and Russia.
