The A-DASH Collaborative is pleased to announce a focus on ending sexual harassment on and around river recreation at the upcoming River Management Roundtable on Tuesday, 23rd November from 20:30 to 21:30 (CET).
“This will be an excellent primer for river managers, company principals and human resource leaders who are looking for an effective approach to eliminating workplace discrimination and harassment” notes Angie Fuhrmann, RMS River Training Center Coordinator. “The A-DASH (Anti-Discrimination and Sexual Harassment) Collaborative will share how their river professionals and trainers are throwing a rope to outfitters and agencies, wherever they’re at in the process.” Through tailored training and policy assessment, the A-DASH Collaborative approach intends to create genuine culture change within river- based organisations.
Jim Miller, Respect Outside principal and A-DASH trainer, adds, “At this River Management Roundtable, A-DASH Collaborative members will share a bit about their roles. We will then open the session up for questions.” You can learn about the A-DASH Collaborative in this brand new video and register for the upcoming River Management Roundtable here.
Members of the RMS team are proud to be among the founding collaborative members and hope that an introduction to A-DASH will help connect attendees with the resources and training opportunities they need to transform the culture on their rivers.
River Management Roundtables are free and open to RMS members and non-members, but registration is required. Learn more about twice-monthly Roundtables on both technical and cultural river topics on the River Management Roundtables webpage.
