Euro Rafting Champs 2019 – Bosnia & Herzegovina

In July 2019, we return to the stunning gorges of the River Vrbas in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Vrbas is a fast mountain river, with several white water sections and pool drops. The length used for rafting is 31km (from dam to downtown). The Vrbas winds through two canyons: Canyon Tijesno (5km) and Canyon Podmilacje (8km). The level of the water depends on dam releases with usual limits at 25 to 100 cubic meters. In spring it is around 300 cubic meters. The grading is 2-3. In July water temperature is 16oC, air temperature is over 25oC
