Happy New Year to you all! We hope you all had a Festive Season that rejuvenated you for the coming year.
Our calendar is already building up fast with the key events to highlight:

• Guide Training & Education (GTE) Instructors Conference: 27 – 29 April in Durance, France. Details
• European Rafting Championships (ERC): 8 – 13 June in Czech Republic, with the Sprint, H2H and Slalom in Lipno and Roudnice nad Labem, and the Downriver on the infamous Devil’s Stream on the Vltava River. This event will be R4 & R6. Details
• World Rafting Championships (WRC): 22 – 30 August in China on the Wu Pai River in the town of Ziyuan, Guilin, Guangxi Province. Details
• Euro Cup Series: there are 10 events in this series so far this year. Each event is indicated on the calendar by “EC” and then whether it is R4 or R6. These events are open to all clubs and teams around the world and there are no pre-requirements other than the team being able to safely race on the class of river the event is on.

There are already a multitude of guide training workshops being offered around the world, from Cardiff to Chile, Brazil to Bulgaria and Bosnia, USA, Morocco, Austria, Switzerland, Scotland, Ecuador, France to Germany. And we are continually adding more!

For racing, the calendar is still filling up, so keep an eye on it for new opportunities.
