The IRF’s GTE Conference 2023 will be held in April, near Foča, Republika Srpska, Bosnia & Herzegovina. This will be the first face-to-face GTE Instructor Conference since the start of the pandemic. We encourage all Instructors, Provisional Instructors and Assessors to attend.
The GTE Conference 2023 will consist of three full days of theory, land and water based activities.
GTE Conference 2023 Program:
- 26 April: Arrival to Tara River Camp (near Foča, Bosnia & Herzegovina)
- 27 April: Instructor conference
- 28 April: Instructor conference (on water)
- 29 April: Instructor conference (on water and land)
- 30 April: Departure
The registration fee will be confirmed before the end of 2022. The fee will cover full board (accommodation and meals) for the duration of the Instructor Conference. Accommodation and meals will be provided at the Rafting Centar Tara Raft, hosts to the Downriver competition of this year’s World Rafting Championships.
There will be an Assessors meeting and meeting of the GTE Committee in the days immediately prior to the GTE Conference 2023. Assessors and GTE Committee members will receive further details directly.
Registration for the IRF’s GTE Conference 2023 will open in early January 2023. Registration is open to all current and recently lapsed or expired Instructors, Provisional Instructors and Assessors. The status of all Instructors and Assessors can be found on our frequently updated certified guides and instructors page.
